In partnership with Housing Choices Australia and McCallum Disability Services, four fully accessible independent living units and a carer’s unit were designed for Albert Street, Ballarat. Featuring open plan passive solar design, these two-bedroom units feature modern facilities and accessible bathrooms complete with hoists. North facing living allows for cross-flow ventilation and internal thermal mass walls for efficient temperature control. The units also contain full fire services including smoke alarms, fire panels and sprinkler systems.
